Mont Marte Silicone Oil 60ml (2oz)

Create stunning cells and effects with our Premium Silicone Oil. Simply add it to your pouring paints, pour them onto your canvas and tilt slowly to watch the patterns emerge. 

For best results, use a maximum of 2-3 teaspoons of silicone oil to 200ml of pouring paint.

Note: Do not apply varnish until silicone oil has been cleaned from the painting.

I bought it initially for pour painting. However additionally I found it is a very useful item for treadmill belts, Dyson floor tool belt rollers & quietening noisy geared motors & gears. The bottle has adequate quantity & a very appropriately sized nozzle. A quality product in a quality container bottle sold by a wonderful trader who sells a lot of the other acrylic paint type art items I also needed & bought. Additionally I can also suggest using this oil in places where the parts are to move slowly & viscously( with some intended sluggishness) not for timepieces, but for e.g. worm geared assemblies - more like a slow grease. Geared or toothed belts e.g. treadmills/ some Dyson/Kirby assemblies. Just the odd drop or two only, else it will attract dust.
